It's just on the SLX models as it's a complete redesign. Check availability you might be lucky and find the spec/size you're interested in only has an 11 week wait :p

I also noticed their between £20-£30 cheaper than last week as the EUR price is fixed but the GB price fluctuates depending on the exchange rate. I've set up some forex alerts to text/email me if it rises above a certain amount :p

Ah, it's annoying as i was going to buy one in autumn but ended up buying a house which kinda put a dent in finances! I was looking at the SLX 8.0 or 8.0 ES so not much luck as i'm coming out as an "S" size :(

With ordering, will it just keep going back and back? as in, if I waited a couple of months, would I be able to get one fairly soon after or would it be a case of waiting for months after that?

It could come down. It's usually a conservative estimate. And I expect they will be ramping production to cope w/ the demand. Plus there's normally a delay for new models anyway obviously this one is a pretty significant upgrade so demand is higher than normal. But I wouldn't expect it to go increase to much further.

Then normal delay is 2/3 weeks if they don't have the pre built stock.

Well, i hope you've been cycling more than you've been posting or your in for a tough ride :p

Ha!

We moved house on 18th December so we've had no broadband and won't have any for 2 more weeks until BT visit to install Infinity. Typing this on my mobile.

Have kept myself ticking over on the Turbo and road rides as the weather allows. I'll start doing double loops of my 30 mile circuit in a few weeks. I did the KK last year, so it's no surprise to me.

Oh i know that :-) but i will be tracking my ride with motoactv tomorrow and ill try to import it to strava after and i dont want to miss the segment feature :-)

It will match segments whichever way you upload your ride.
Strava is actually very good at matching segments, i'v only ever had 2-3 missed segments in almost 173 rides logged, and that was down to bad GPS data rather than strava. It will also retrospectively match rides to segments if somebody creates a segment after you have uploaded your ride, which is smart.

My apologies, as the others have said Strava is very efficient at matching segments and rarely seems to miss them.
