Hi, on my old build i had a 2TB Storage for Movies,Games,Music etc

I built my new PC today, Installed my hard drive. But in Windows it is not showing.

In format options it shows the HDD and that the files are still on there, Can somebody help me figure out how i can get my Hard drive to appear without formatting. I have a lot of data on there :(

Right Click on 'My Computer' and select 'Manage'. On the left, you should have 'Disk Management'. Select it and you should have the HDD in the list. Right Click on the HDD and select 'Create Simple Volume' or 'Format'.

If the drive is not showing, you'll need to check the power & sata lead being used. You can also check BIOS to see if it's being picked up!

Actually I think it was 'Change drive letter and path'. Try that and assign it a letter.

Good place to start if the drive letter is already be used by another device.

From the picture, it doesnt look like it's been assigned a drive letter. Right click and select 'Change drive letter and path' as directed by Luke!
