Path of Exile is awesome. Give that a try too!

Will definitely have a look at PoE. I just created an account to try and get into the beta but when I verified the account it did nothing, might wait a bit.

im playing poe and torchlight 2 at the moment aswell anyone wana team up let me no :)

Its slowing up my goal to hit para 100 but im enjoying it so all is good.

I'm currently around level 24-25 I think, Outlander..having awesome fun :)

I usually get 2 legendaries a run at MP6 :D

(Nothing good though!)

Standard Alk run with SF at the end for key.

Alright for some :p

Maybe I should start moving up through the MP levels. Although isn't MF capped at 375%? If so I wouldn't gain much but it would take much longer.

I dont think MF is capped, or if it is, the counter is bugged. It goes way over 400 at high MF/high paragon/NV, proably even over 500.

After browsing the Diablo forums it appears the cap is 300% for gear including paragon levels. However, NV and MP and stack on top of this so could go up to 625%.

Looks like moving up through the MP levels is the way to go.

yeah mf is capped at 375% off para/gear/follower, only thing that adds to that cap is monster power. From my experience (and many others) the extra fast clearing speed of low mp outweighs the benefit of the higher mf and extra item drop bonus. Low mps are by far the best place to be for xp and loot, which is pretty dumb imho but true.

Depends on gear. With good gear you can oneshot mobs at mp6 :)

Really? are u at the stage when u can farm mp6 as quick as mp1? i run around with my barb at over 300k fully buffed and i definately cant, it would cost me billions to get there. There is a reason why most people stay in lower mps, unless they are doing ubers, the rewards dont match the effort. (unless u are up there with the top geared characters in the game, which if u are congrats job well done :))

Well perhaps I was being a bit generous with one shot, but with good top end gear, MP6 does have the potential to be almost as fast as MP1, especially for barb.

With good gear in low MP, you are constantly fury starved, and cannot keep sprint/wrath up, which will add many minutes onto your run. Have no problems keeping both up at MP6. So while it takes a little longer per pack, the time saved between packs more than makes it up. Elites still die very quickly with SoJ, especially when they clump up in your tornados :)

For other classes, I can see MP1 being much faster, for sure, but barbs seem to be such cripples without fury.

Also, re:

Sure... if by 'good', you mean 'epic gear costing 100s of mil'.

A few hundred mil is nothing for people who have been playing this since release.

I've been mostly playing since release and have 11M. :/

Everything I find is charsi-fodder or if lucky worth selling for 100-200k. The odd legendary might sell for say 3M.

I look at upgrades on AH and laugh at the items costing in the tens of millions let alone those in hundreds and even some in billions...

Sorry, I think you meant to say 'people who haven't been grinding act 3 on 1 character for 100s of hours' or there abouts. I've not been playing non-stop since release but much of my time has been spent actually playing the game on different characters as well as investing heavily on 2 different characters rather than repeatadly running act 3 over and over and over.

I know its a generalisation, but I'm fairly sure you'd be hard pressed to find someone in this thread who has epic gear and has also actually played more than 2 or 3 characters since release, or more than 1 since the introduction of Paragon levels.
