*** 2013 Sports Arena Targets Thread ***

DL closer to 200kg than 150kg.
Fix posture/back/shoulders/everything else.
Get big enough to get lean without looking like a camp survivor.
Continue providing the community with heavenly blessed beauties in my log.
 
Targets:
DL 150
Bench 100
Squat 130:

I'd like to do that by June, assuming I can get my back fixed first. If I can my gut feel is that bench will actually be hardest to hit.
 
Current - Goal

Cycling - 53 miles - 130 miles
maybe a coast to coast aswell
Swimming - 1750 metres - 3750 metres


and actually put on a little weight. just lost half a stone in 3 weeks.

Goals for this are cycling related as due to my injuries I can't really do any sport except cycling humph...


Cycle to a coast - 100 miles is the closest coast (Skegness) to me. And i'd like to cycle back as well.

I also want to a sub 30minute time trial on my own now. Nearly broke 29minutes following my uncle for 3/4 of a 10miler. 1st time - do it on my own. Then I want 21minute 10 milers by September.

Well ok, i'll settle for 27's lol.

Once i've done these i'll set some more. :)
 
I have 2 goals for this 2013:
-Ride a 10 mile time trial in 22:30 or less.
-Lose at least 1/2 stone. (Currently 13 stone)

Update: just found the first cycling top i ever bought. It's around 12-13 years old now and was never worn :(. I was around 14 when i bought it, so it's fairly small but i think i can fit into it again. Weight loss goal is updated to include fitting into this top again.

Reduce body weight to 78kg. Currently 86kg on a good day.

Complete 100 Miles and 200 Kilometres road rides.

I'm in two minds about going back to the gym - considering keeping cycling as my primary focus but if i do i'd like to exceed my old lifts from the middle of last year 70/120(reps)/120(reps)
 
2012 was what I consider a waste, I achieved nothing, sure I broke a few PBs but other than that, I did jack ****

So I have some ground to make up

This years goals:

Squat: 150kg ->200kg (I know that's a big jump but given how ice is sure my form is holding me back, I've no doubt a few months with him will sort me out and see me on my way)
Bench: 120kg -> 140kg
Deadlift: 200kg -> 240kg

Compete either in a BNBF qualifier or other regional show
 
Time to sort your **** out steedie :)

Nice to see some non gym specific goals people, 100/200km rides and coasts to coasts! I like :D
 
My main goal this year is to complete the UK Ironman in August.

I've done a few marathons so not too worried about that.

Longest bike I've ever done is 82 miles so I need to up that a bit.

Furthest I've swam is 2750m so I need another km on top of that.

Other than completing that I'd like to get some other new PBs:

Half Iron Distance - sub 6:30. Did 7.27 in IM 70.3 last year but this year I'm doing the Outlaw half which is a much easier course so I should improve my time.

5km - sub 20 min (current PB 20.31)

10km - sub 42 min (current PB 43.34)

Half Marathon - sub 1:30 (current 1:33:58)

Might go for another marathon later in the year depending on how tired I am after IM. Current best is 3:41 but I'd like to get a sub 3:30 if I do one.
 
Firstly aim to be slightly more methodical in tracking progress - mainly weight and workout weights, need to grab a notepad

Aim to bulk around 5-7kg

Increase deadlifts to 110kg -> 150kg
Increase squats to 90kg -> 120kg
Increase bench to 60kg -> 80kg

I think such are achievable and not too optimistic
