Still loving my very simple click on and off case, have a few of them but this has a nice soft textured feeling in the hand, only a few pound as well from a popular auction site.
Be VERY wary if you own a white phone with ANY colour solid plastic cases as I found out the colour can stair into the white plastic.

That case is amazing isn't it? The feel gives me confidence.

My phone just rebooted.

I had internet sharing on and had my surface connected to it.
Decided to turn on Bluetooth and bam....rebooted.

Using the original firmware in my unlocked red device from clove

Did this a few times to make sure it wasn't a one off...and it wasn't. Anyone else have this bug??

Go look on wpcentral as there are numerous threads on the issue - this is one of the issues that portico is meant to address, it might work for you when it is released, it didn't work for me and I have sent the phone back to Nokia to look at as it was completely frozen and no amount of resetting would bring it back..

So my 2nd 'free' charger turned up today. Not sure whether to keep it for work or sell it.

Try this but maybe without the magnet.

I'm tempted to do it but I'm happy with my "Lego kit" as a quick charge dock by my seat - also waiting for my NFC tag to arrive from Amazon.

Can someone give me some links please? :)

If it clips in and out easily enough then I'll order myself a couple. One to use...one to experiment with :D

I got the rock case, love it. You won't be disappointed :)

I don't actually want a case on the phone, I like it as is. I just want something I can modify into a car mount by butchering an old TomTom windscreen sucker :p

I suspect that's going to be a when they can be bothered. Unfortunately carriers aren't too fussed about such easy sharing of information as they can make more money when customers overuse. Especially if you're on 4G with EE.

How cynical of me... Maybe this article about how Google is flat out lying about IE on WP8 incompatibility with webkit will ease my cynicism.

Well what they are saying was true, before WP8 was released Google maps didn't work because it didn't support some of the touch functions needed in a browser to navigate the map.

So those restrictions are probably left over from WP7 cause the WP8 browser now supports those touch gestures.

I used GoogleMaps when I was on Windows 7.5 (Lumia 800), that was back in around Feb 2012 when I first got it and I used it again something in the late summer during a trip for quick navigation in browser.

What Google have done is made excuses for a decision they've made with bias cause, because by their first excuse, Opera and Firefox won't work (not Webkit, and IE10 on Windows OS, not Phone too). By their second excuse after the uproar from their first silly excuse, makes no sense - they're redirecting it because it doesn't perform as it should but we'll now undo that because actually, you guys are alright, but not as good as Firefox though. So here you go, subtle stab.

Immature is the best word I can come up for a software company that tries to promote openness - unless you're a competition.

Anyone noticed that their graph has stopped working properly on the battery level for wp8 app since the update. Yes i now have a woman telling me the battery percentage but now i can't see what is causing my battery grief.

and the woman is completely pointless and very annoying... in fact, can you switch it off? *goes to check*

edit: yes you can... hooray :D
