new hard drive constantly active

my drive is constantly active its new this drive
like clicking noise and i had to take the hard drive led out of the motherboard as it was constantly blinking

motherboard up5 the only other drive i have is ssd sand disk

this is strange the drive that makes the sound is the F drive but no active stuff going on
most is on the ssd c drive

its normal to have the hdd led blinking a lot mines doing it as i type and not downloading anything

Possibly Windows indexing the drive at a guess.

i can hear it if i go close up cant have the led hard drive led light on bugging me

doing my head in this sound might just send it back to overclockers
it makes a sound when no hard drive activity is going on over and over ?
