I would like to buy either intel 520 or samsung 830, which one is better?Does anyone have suggestions?

For the same price/GB I would go with the Intel as the RMA process is much easier and they have top reliability.

Wrong section but Samsung over Intel just to avoid Sandforce. The Samsung is also generally cheaper and is one of the most reliable drives out there.

Nothing wrong with Intel's implementation of the Sandforce controler.
If you plan to use the SSD in a laptop then no question go for the Intel (almost 2-3W less power consumption compared to the Samsung). For a desktop either one will be fine.

For the price of the Intel drive, you can get the Samsung 840 Pro which is superior to pretty much all other drives.

As far as my reading and experience goes, there is no denying that there is material that talks about sandforce BSOD issues. But, these are issues of the past and have been solved sometime back. I personally dont have any issues with sandforce based ssd.
