Oi hands off, I'm 7th at the moment! :D

To be fair would be a lot higher if I hadn't just begun my ironman training, would be more like 200 miles by now :o

Mwahahaha, into 8th place with you! I've just done 16 miles in falling snow. Rule 9!

I should definitely make it to 200 over the course of the month, so at least I'll win one badge.

How do you all find Sufferfest? I found the one I did (Angels) pretty good but the music is just terrible!

I actually had my first, and last I hope, clipless accident today because of the music, cleats and laminate wood flooring don't mix! I got off the bike to mute the video and put some of my own songs on and my feet just shot out from under me haha.

Aiming to do a sufferfest video every other day to keep me in good shape until the racing starts again in spring. Got a Sportive next Sunday so looking forward to that too.

I didn't mind the music on Angels too much, as long as it's not generic pop I'm OK with it. That last climb is fun isn't it ;)

Rock on you crazy loon. I've just taken my studded tyres off because they roll like concrete blocks. I hope it doesn't stick or I'll regret it.

Will clock up my first ride for nearly a month tonight, been on holiday and since then ill and it's simply been too hot to ride! Will have a lot of fitness to regain, but haven't put any weight on fortunately.

What is the best site for cycling news, nearly the start of the tour down under and wanted to keep up to date with it.

Another question about brakes... If I buy a new complete groupset, say Sora or Tiagra, it'll come with Shimano brakes, which I could use to replace my existing Tektro brakes, assuming they're better. However, the Tektro brakes have the advantage of having cartridge pads. Is it possible to retrofit cartridge pad holders in the place of standard brake blocks? I would have thought it would be possible, as you're still just bolting something to the caliper arm, be it a brake block or a cartridge holder.

Anyone done this before?

Cycled in to work today and now it's bucketing it down with snow. I will probably regret that later.

23mm tires will hopefully cut through the snow.

they do.. i cycled to work and the only time i had snow under my tyres was when passing through a park... there's a steep short uphill that is hard to walk on cycling up that takes some effort.. but going over snow my tyres kept the traction while pedaling up that.. which was surprising! 23 mm slicks.

Been so busy only been out for one proper ride this year :( Should have some time come the weekend but the forecast is windchill -10c
