Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

Thought demo was ok. Probs not a day one for me although the art especially the world map is great. Think I'll have to have voice on Jap too, probably less annoying than the english one and thats saying something.

Really excited for this now!

Initially tried the demo and rage quit as i didnt understand the battle system etc

Then i saw the above review and gave the demo another go, i gave it some time and found out what to do!

It seems really unique, cant wait to see some more reviews in the coming weeks bht i think i will get it as i havent played an rpg like this for years, it just looks soo cool :P

If i preorder from game i get a hardback japanese book?

Whats that then, i guess its the book the main character has on him, id rather have the guide or something!

I hate you guys :( I was saving money.

Never even heard of this game until yesterday when I saw this thread. Now I have the special edition on pre-order :D

Pre-ordered the Wizard's edition on Shopto although I'm not sure if I'm going to cancel or not yet and get just the game when it drops in price (although knowing my luck it would rise :p).

Any idea when to expect more reviews? Ign gametrailers etc

I love that the playstation one gave it 10/10 but theres always that stigma of bias-ness towards there own but hopefully not!

The ign chap thats reviewing it seems really impressed from what little he has said on the podcast but dont know when its going live on the site

bahh I really want to get this but I had just decided to start FF XIII-2 tonight and there's no way I'll be able to do both.. so I need to decide whether to delay playing FF again for this or play FF and get this at a later date..

I'd say get this first, it looks a lot more promising than FFXIII-2. It's good (not as good as FFXIII though), but I doubt it'll be as fulfilling as Ni no Kuni.
