Surprise!

I was thinking of making a joke but I have a serious reply!

My Girlfriend's uncle builds planes as a living, so for my birthday a couple of years ago she took me to a field in the middle of west sussex and left me for dea... no wait wrong story sorry, I mean, he took me flying. I flew the plane most of the way to the Isle of Wight and back. :)
Although I had a suspicion what would happen as she told me the postcode a week or two before and I already knew that his hangar was somewhere around that area.

That must be an incredible feeling flying a plane. :)

Amazing how gentle you have to be with it, was a windy day as well so just keeping it in a straight line is pretty hard for a beginner. Quite scary. Was a good plane for it though as the cockpit was panoramic so you could see all around and above.
flying lessons are very expensive so it was a good once in a <?> opportunity

Whats the nicest surprise you have ever had?
For me it was when seabiscuit proposed!

I really hate to burst your bubble... But..You know you were the 1514th gal he proposed to and the only one that said yes, all the others told him to **** off!

;)

I have one that involves Thailand.

I see where you're going with this. I like it.

My fav surprise was my birthday a few years ago. I thought I was just going down to visit my mum, but it turns out all my siblings were there and they cooked what is still, to this day, the best meal I have ever eaten. It was a nice sunny day, and the meal was:

one giant cut of beef from the butcher, cut into steaks and marinaded in a honey and teriaki sauce, cajun mashed potatoes, "south of the border coleslaw" (chillies and stuff), and a homemade cake my sister in law baked. It was sooooooooooooo good. It's making my tastebuds squirt just thinking about it. Was a good surprise alright :)

Remember when i was a child i would always lust after the playmoblie pirate ship that my much older cousin had. One evenning it was mine!!!. Never forget that day

When i was about 13 or 14 me my sister and mum went on holiday while my dad stayed home to work etc, when we got back i went into my bedroom to find the room had been decorated, i had a new desk and a new chair for my computer and all the decorating such as border, curtains and colour scheme etc were all based on my football team. Best dad.

The best surprise I have ever had in my life was that little packet of Haribo that arrived with my Graphics Card.

Or was it when my wife told me she was pregnant...

Nah Haribo everytime.
