Hi all, recently fitted a new kitchen and as a part of that blocked up a wall, now Im left with an awkward sized room and a tricky situation as follows...

The room is on the ground floor and part of it used to be a downstairs toilet.

The room is approx 3.25m X 1.4m - in the future (approx 10years) I plan on building an extension which would involve demolishing this room and building over its foundations - so I don't want to spend too much money or masses of time on it.

As part of doing the kitchen I have run a hot/cold water feed, flow/return heating, ring main and lighting circuits into this room and capped off so there is a little potential - also has waste plumbed in but in an awkward place (middle of the floor)

Any suggestions on what I can use this room for, or what you would use it for?

Ill try to do a quick sketch of the room showing the awkwardness of it.

Take the drawing (with more detailed measurements) into your local Bath Store and get some wet room designs done - give them a budget and you'll see from the 3D results how perfick that room is. Design is free by the way!

Seems a perfect place to keep the Doris to me, Close to the kitchen but far enough away from the Interwebs.

Id use it as a room for all my animals as the vivariums are taking over my front room haha

...only really helpful if you keep snakes etc...but that is what i would do with it :D

haha couple of interesting suggestions, also thought of putting a treadmill in it... dont really need it for storage, a toilet would be good but its a bit big for a downstairs loo (in scale with the house)
