I'm glad others are now picking up the debate with doofer because I was about to give up.
Yes, but to do that you've have to send something to the moon to relay signals, as I suggested. Else the radio operators would know it wasn't where it was meant to be.
You've then got the problem that if you don't land it, it's going to go out of range as it orbits the moon.
Buzz Aldrin once punched a guy in the face for accusing him of not going to the moon. Personally, I'd like to see all conspiracy nuts receive a knuckle sandwich.
Yeah, but the Soviets and USA have sent unmanned things to the Moon from 1962. Sending unmanned probes and sending a manned flight are two completely different kettles of fish and it would be not in-conceivable to be able to fake an unmanned flight as a manned flight which is where most of the CT stuff gets very tricky as most believers will argue 'Look at the stuff on the Moon though!' whilst not realising it doesn't need a manned flight to do it...
Given the state of computer technology in the 60s, I'd think that a complicated unmanned flight such as the one suggested would almost be harder than a manned version. Although the manned version is pretty dangerous, it's a lot easier to have someone up there pressing buttons and inputting navigational information based on star locations into the basic computer than trying to do everything automatically or remotely.Yeah, but the Soviets and USA have sent unmanned things to the Moon from 1962. is doofer trying to suggest we had robotics sophisticated enough in 1969 to carry out the entire moon landing mission as well as faking footprints and even stabbing a flag in dirt?
Honestly it's scary what people choose to believe, madness.
You could just post why you think it's faked then back it up latter.
Why? What makes you angry about someone with an alternative view?
The guy who verbally abused Buzz Aldrin deserved what he got, irrespective of whether the conspiracy is true or not.
I'm not generally angry about people with alternative views. I do, however, get angry with conspiracy nuts and their falacious flawed arguments. They waste everybody's time and insult and offend many people in the process.
Jeeze it's scary what people choose to believe sometimes
