B Grade crazy prices

I can't believe that if you see something in the B-grade section you like then why would you not

1) Pick up phone
2) Dial 0871 200 5052
3) Say 'Hello, i am interested in one of your B-grade items but the price is CRAZY'
4) Listen to the salesperson say something like 'I am sure we can come to an agreement on price........'
5) Buy item at a discounted price - or - Dont buy item

@ 10p a minute  You have money to burn :p

I always check out the B Grade, just to see if any bargains but seing those prices, it made me chuckle was all and I had no intention of buying anything. I just made a light hearted thread.

I had a load of b-grade from OCUK in the past, never had a problem. I received a GTX280 that had a wonky cooler, so I asked them if they'd replace it and they took it back and tested it and checked it over and sent it back for free + warranty which was pretty good.

Problem with Bgrade for me is the warranty. If they sorted out the warranty issue and made it a limited 12months, i would buy Bgrade

Bgrade gets controlled by the purchasing team, I think they are too busy to deal with it and forget to change any prices.

It needs a person to take a look once a week to keep things in check.

you get manufacturers warranty anyway and 90 days with ocuk, so I don't see what the problem is.

Manufacturers are not obliged to do anything for you, so there is a potential BIg problem.
90days is next to useless for hardware.

Yes they are it's under their warranty obligations and I'm pretty sure under Distance Selling Regs too.

Take the B Grade Sammy monitor I bought from here, which arrived with excessive bleeding. I could either return it to overclockers and get my money back or get it repaired under warranty (through samsung or overclockers). I went via Samsing and the panel came back as new and has been working flawlessly since.

b grade has pretty much always been a shambles, I have tried to purchase graphics cards on a couple of occasions, bought and paid, awaiting dispatch, oh sorry there is a problem, we dont have any!, despite 10+ in stock, avoid it now. :(

Theres only 1 thing that I would pay more money for used ones than new ones. Knickers.

Eww, too much, it makes you sound reaaaally lonely. :p

Not OcUK specific B-Grade, but I'm always up for a discount.

I got myself a Gigabyte X79-UD5 for £140 by going for a b-grade option that I found.

It must have been some sort of DSR return as unwanted because it's perfectly fine. It's exactly what I'd have expected by going brand new.

It came with all the accessories, most still in their original bags, rear I/O plate and the wifi/Bluetooth card and aerials.

The only thing it didn't come in was its original retail box, it was in a plain white box, but had clearly been made for some sort of motherboard so it could very well have been the original box without an outer sleeve with all fancy pictures on and that.
