Hm, ended up buying the bulkpoweders tubs, they're stiff as sin and a right bugger to open at the moment (the plastics rock solid as opposed to floppy plastic) hopefully ease up with time.

Also started using the oneon whey, think it's a bit sweeter than the MP whey, tastes fine though (chocolate one)

Hey guys

Looking for some advice really. About 5 months ago i caught mumps which lead to my kidneys nearly exploding which then lead to me dropping from 18stone to 12.5.

I used to gym like 4 times a week and take Myofusion 98% protein with creatine etc.

Im gradually gaining to around 14 stone now and think im strong enough to at least life 10kg dumbells. Reason im posting here is would it be in my benefit to take a weight gainer protein to stock on the extra pounds?

Thanks.

J

The ones I recommended?

They ease up over time, or you just need to lift :p

Yea, I'm 12st 11lbs @ 5' 11" which I consider to be a good weight (even though I'm fatty fat on BMI :p)

14st is pretty heavy - are you very tall or something?

Why not just eat more if you want to add some size?

6ft 7. Nurse told me 16 stone should be my ideal weight? I know it doesnt say that on the BMI calc but i look hell scrawny. All dangly and stuff.:p

Im eating loads, it just isnt working. The question was meant to say im basically going to take protein anyway. Instead of a 98% should i get a high carb one?

Ta.

I'd ditch the 98% either way unless you have a real need to use isolate i.e you're lactose intolerant else you're just spending money for the sake of it.

What's loads? Start counting your calories then we can talk about how much you're actually eating.

Yeah, i will re-start doing this.

Just been planning on gaining as much weight and not hitting the gym i stopped counting.

Breakfast Everyday inclu weekends - 4 eggs 2 slices of toast.

Dinner - Chicken, broccoli and white rice. - 4/5 days

Tea - Usually pasta with either pork / chicken

I know this isnt a lot, but im feeling so full. Bear in mind i used to be 18stone could eat like a king. Now im eating like a 5 year old reason im thinking about the WG.

Will start counting on Monday when im back at the gym.

Cheers.

If you're like me and struggle with eating a lot in one sitting, have smaller meals every 3 or so hours and dinner as normal. A shake with 40g whey and 100g oats is a good way get extra calories too.

Possibly - nuts are an outrageously good way of getting calories in.

Yeah, i know its bearly scraping. I will try the Oats LiE. Which whey would you recommend if to stay away from the Myo?

Thanks.
