Acceptable temps while gaming on a 7970?

Why shame? Asus is decent.

Its under a decent company too if it breaks they will send me a working card and deal with the broken one themselves which is nice.

Now is torchlight 2 supposed to use 100%? Lol

Just joking, weehamish. :D

The build quality on Asus is among the best, it's just the time taken for rma which might leave a sour taste in the mouth. :)

No idea about Torchlight 2. Wouldn't worry though.

Temps are very good mate!! Tho if are still concerned!!! go watercooled, or even better water chiller!! (expensive but great) picture below.

Using Kombuster for long periods is a sure way to shorten the life of your card

Asus is decent, its just the time it takes to RMA thats the pain with them :(

Wow and civ 5 isn't even a stressing game.

What gpu load you getting and what max fan speeds?

Civ 5 on a huge map is about as stressful as it gets and produces far more heat than running Prime95 as both the CPU/GPUs are working hard.

Fans I left on auto but they did ramp up quite high (very loud).

GPU usage was between 85%-98%

My nvidia cards are a lot quieter and faster but also can run a lot hotter (between 80c-91c on the different GPUs).
