I made the syringe and pack, after that I was taken to a Skills tutorial and I couldn't exit it. In the screenshots I've seen there's a back button, however there isn't one in my game so I can't exit the tutorial.

Same thing happened to me & a few others, I posted something further back, you have to double click something on screen
I remember, you have to double click each icon in the different categorys then Dennis teaches you the move and then you can progress through the game.

Really? Have you actually got some objective screenshot comparisons you'd like to show us where FC2 visuals outstrip those of FC3 or do you just like to jump into threads, post a 12 word flame-bait message and leave?

i would upload some screenshots but ive uninstalled it now.

game is a big step backwards technically compared to FC2.

there are no physics in this game.

fire a few round into the water and the water effects are all bitty and low res.

DX11 is broke, so gotta play in DX9.

where is DX10.1 from FC2 that looked and ran like a dream on my nvidia 295.

so this game is only playable in DX9, no physics, no AA and looks worse than FC2.

shouldnt need 2 680's to run this game above 40 fps max out.

That sounds more like an issue with your PC not the game. I'm running it on an overclocked GTX560ti on DX 11 ultra all bar shadows and no AA with no FPS issues. Maybe you should try it on a properly working machine?

Loving the game, it seems really well optimized to run as smoothly as it does. As for being a step down from FC2, how is being a great game a step down from being a turd one?

nothing wrong with my pc buddy.

msi 580 lighting extreme @ 980 mhz here.

so why address the issues of far cry 2, to then remove aspects of it that made it great. ?

I think that is the problem he has, a GTX290 is outdated now

Mines running similar to yours but with a GTX580, no stutters or any issues except a CTD now & again but just updated the Nvidia driver & it seems fixed.
Physics are good with explosions hurtling jeeps & bodies in the air, currently replaying the game with the enemy retake the island mod

You can't play it on DX11 & the graphics are all low res ? there is something wrong with your PC for sure

When it can't run dx11 mode and everyone else seems to be able to that indicates an issue with the machine or the user. Perhaps you're overclocking too high and overheating your card or forcing it into 2D mode to cool down? Have you stress tested your overclocks using Kombustor or another test?

Also runs maxed out in dx11 on my slightly overclocked 470.
