CPU Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W)

RAM: Patriot Intel Extreme Masters 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

About to purchase these items, But before i do buy these i just want to see what you guys think and if you think i could get anything better for my money?

CPU is fine, can't comment much on the motherboard as I am still learning :p

The RAM, I have seen plenty of people reccommend the samsung 2x4gb kit that is on offer but not sure how those 2 compare.

Hmm can't really strech that much and i don't like the look the blue puts me off it :(
 
Good choice although if your decision was based on the DVI port then you could have bought an adapter to use on the LX2 for VGA ;)
