yeah no problems with shifting or anything like that :) its just the constant clicking and skipping once/twice in ~20miles

It's a long shot but that sounds familiar. Does your chain have a split link? I had the same problem after changing my chain but reusing the old split link. It's worth checking. Does it click once per wheel rev or once per x pedal revs? Mine was once every chain revolution and I sussed it once I worked out how many pedal revs that was.

i would say it was the chain too, but when i lift the back wheel of the ground and spin it up it will still make the noise :/ it so random im not even sure whats causing it - i would disassemble the hub and take a look but i have no time till the weekend and need a bike to commute on.

ill record a video/soundclip later today maybe that will make more sense

I don't post on here nearly enough...

Just started commuting again, and I wish I hadn't had 3 months off it (due to lack of winter gear and funds to buy said winter gear)! My legs are wondering what on earth is going on!!

Like a summers morning today in comparison to yesterday. About 10oC warmer.

My Strava page in case anyone fancies a laugh :)

pfth.. winter gear ;)

what 10 speed chain do you guys think out of these?

all 10 speed, I'm guessing the x10-93 KMC is better than the other KMC options, and the same for the pc1051 over the pc1031 sram chains, but what about the ultegra?

or is it all just "meh, their all about the same"

I was only jesting ;)

I didn't even know you could log TT rides like that if I'm honest.

No problem, the reason I left endomondo last year was because of the cheating & false logs so I know where your coming from.
I've removed the offending log so I'm back down to third for now;)

Hopefully once the weather improves round here I can get back to my better distances & times.
Last year's best 10 mile time was 26 mins & total mileage of 5,600.

Didn't even realise 2013 challenges had been created for Endomondo, joined them just need to actually get out now.

Local cycling club has a reliability ride on Sunday, tempted but its 113km so might be a bit much for me at the moment.

I've only got that time on my commute home, haven't even been out for a leisure ride yet this year.....or even touched my other bike which is still hibernating.

Strava can be annoying where people leave their GPS on while in the car, so they top every segment! But I only recently realised you can flag a ride, and it gets removed (immediately I think)

I need to sort my head out. I'm spending time looking at bike stuff I want pretty much every day. The latest things are new wheels, a new saddle and a turbo trainer. WTF do I need a turbo trainer for? Too many shiny things...

I've put my rational head on now. If I can drop 10-15lbs I'll invest in new wheels. Until then I'll stick with what I've got.

Just think how much easier it would be to lose weight if you had a turbo trainer that you could use every day and a nice saddle that was more comfortable and let you spend more time on your bike :p

Haha, now you mention it...

I'd like to use a turbo trainer just to work out my FTP and other stuff without having interference from wind, terrain etc but it'd only be out of curiosity. A comfier saddle would be nice and lighter wheels are always good but getting light wheels that support a 200lb rider and don't cost an arm and a leg would be like finding a unicorn.

Edit: And yeah grudas, that's about right. If I have time to use a trainer I have time to ride outside. We'll both just have to dream of shiny things we can't afford.

The most important thing is, since your missus posts on here, go ahead and buy things but don't post how much they cost. :D
