Why do I feel a bit sorry for this guy. Coming from a poor tribal area in Pakistan it must all seem like luxury over here, he probably an unwitting buyer rather than thief. Have you exploited him a bit too much without knowing all the details, that has happened to many people. Am I being a bit naive?

oh god, cry me a river!

Hes ugly, looks like a scumbag and is in the possession of goods that are not his, thats good enough for me :D

why would he need to buy another phone if he already has one?

Nothing other than what is already online about him has been posted. So what's the problem?

Been following this since yesterday afternoon!
Epic thread and I hope it works out for the OP. Need to look into this app for my S3, their sales must have jumped many % over the last 24hrs!

I really can't understand the people saying this guy might be completely innocent. Sure it's a possibility, however it's an extremely remote one.

He has the phone ~3hrs after it was stolen.
He has the phone at ~1.30am in the morning.
He has a phone that hasn't been wiped, and is full of data that is not from the person selling it.

That means if he is an "innocent buyer" he must have bought it at some point between 10.30pm and 1.30am.

Firstly, how likely is it that the thief managed to find an "innocent buyer" within 3 hours, let alone in the middle of the night?

Secondly, who would buy a phone off someone in the middle of the night and not suspect it was dodgy?

Thirdly, obviously there was content on there from the OP, be it pictures, contacts, messages etc. if you bought a 2nd hand phone off someone, you'd expect it to be wiped, or at least if it had stuff on there, to be of the person selling it to you.
