Oh the misery...

I got kicked out of my house by my ex-stepdad for doing something similar. However that was a genuine accident.

Anyway he turned out to be a lying cheating *insert series of expletives here* and I'm still welcome there, while he has a court order saying he isn't :D
 
im confused by the comments regarding it being a high end amp....there isn't much on the market cheaper is there? :s

You know that scene in Forest Gump, where the teacher is explaining to his Mother that Forest just missed out on normal education using a graph with Forest being just below normal.

If the movie was Shayper Gump and the teacher were a social worker, that graph would look like this;

Was the amp even on when this all happened? Would change your chances of repairing it significantly if it was off, but even standby would likely mean its shot.

I never said it was hi-end, but just before xmas it was £450 in most retailers. To me, that's enough to spend on an amp. RS had it on sale at £250 on xmas eve, i bought it couple of days later. they now have it at £279.

Truth is, i simply can't afford to go out and buy another one, so it makes me laugh when people say, "it was an accident, get over it, it's only an amp, get another one" Sheeesh.....a lot of affluent keyboard warriors in here. :p

He does pay board, not much mind £60pcm as does his twin brother. He is an apprentice plumber, the other an apprentice sparky.
It's usually his brother who destroys things around the house.

I really, really have no idea what you are getting at with this. If you are implying I'm a bit dim, well I'm studying mathematics at uni and was in the top 400 in the country for my age group.

As for the other implication that I can discern, hardly. My mother was happily married for several years in a great 5 bed house in Norwich before said ex-stepdad began to cheat. So really, egg-on-face for you there.
 
lol......would love to see his face when i hold my hand out and say, "£950 for a new 3d panny tv please".
Alas, his brother was watching tv this morning, so i can't try that one on.
