No this is for the whole population. Not just for foreigners. But idea is that when you remove the socialist benefits, it removes the incentive to come to the uk for the wrong reasons. But won't stop the good immigration, of hard working productive individuals.


What am i going to do? The question you should be asking is what are they going to do about changing their circumstances. This idea that the government should be responsible for an individuals life creates all sorts of social problems. When the government safety net exists, people have children when they can't realy afford it. Add on to that financial incentives to have children and you have a recipe for increasing the amount of non-working and often uneducated and ultimately dependant families.

Not if it spreads hatred, paranoia and lies.

Not on a private forum which is owned by a business which I am guessing doesn't want to be ascociated with racism, especially considering its suffered in the past from the issue.

There are large parts of England which have had little or no development since Thatcher destroyed industry back in the 80's (mainly in the north). No government has really addressed this issue which has made benefit support almost cultural for large numbers of people as the areas are deprived - education being substandard, no real housing stock, no real role models etc.

As for you 3 year mandatory input criteria, are you saying you would live off your parents income tax whilst you attend school for 11 years what if they need something from the public purse - do we turn them down ?
 
Wonder if she's an OCUK poster... judging by the Romanian thread we have a few idiots like her on here. She's likely unaware that UK universities make a lot of money from the tuition fees foreign students pay and this partly offset the tuition coast of our own students.

Stamping on it, as I would have a tendancy to do in a forum environment I must admit, is really counterproductive.

Meh, this is absolutely nothing in comparison to the past. This debate will live, and there will be the prejudiced and ignorant as there always will be. Stemming their debate, funneling that energy below radar, is the biggest danger.

Their arguments are hollow, rest easy on that alone.

If there is an emergency then they will still be covered by the healthcare. But no gp and no surgery or specialist appointments for free. No free houses, they will have to share with other people or find shelters or seek out third party assistance. This is only to try and prevent people from moving to the uk for government services. But at the same time it could be used to prevent dependence on the state. This over generous safety net although it may be well intentioned, it creates a negative incentive.

Oh yes, there have been some classics in the past. The infamous "Why do Pakistanis smell?" by somebody who should have known better and some threats of kiling all non-whites (presumably women and children too) by a poster.

But yes, their arguements are hollow, verbatim bullocks repeated with little thought and understanding.
