Valemtines Day

I don't like it personally, but the girlfriend does so I have to put up with it.

On the other hand I love eating out and £22.50PP at her favorite place isn't too bad for a 4 course meal, so theres that..

Seabiscuit will have a present for you, it comes after C

Thank goodness for that, I thought you were going to be the opposite.
Me and Mrs Dimple have been together since 1974 and never bought cards, bought presents or been for a meal on Valentines Day.
Every day is VD day :D
. What made you think I was going to say the opposite? :-)

My wife and i have been together for 11 years and 4 months now and we finally tied the not in August last year. We love each other deeply and don't need a day on the calendar to do something special for each other. Doing things randomly is more from the heart (and fun). Valentines day is just a day that is over commerciallised (just like Easter, Halloween and Christmas) these days.

2010 - Single
2011 - Single
2012 - Not Single
2013 - Single

If my pattern holds then 2015 is the year for me, so until then I will have a drink :p

Not that fussed. Me and my girlfriend will go out for drinks and have a nice time together but not paying over the odds for a below average meal in a packed restaurant. Prefer to go out for a nice meal a week later or so or I'll cook her something nice. Probably just go to a few nice bars and have some drinks, chat and laugh. Then I'll get blown.

I love it this year, as my GF will be cycling to uni (30 miles there and back ) every day, she said I could buy the floor pump I have been wanting... as a gift for both of us.

Result!

whos idea was this day on the calender? dont you think you should show same love other 364 days of the year.

You ***ing girls LOVE Valentines Day.

You go on about "aghh it's so overrated" and "it's so clichéd" but if nothing happens you whine like you've been stabbed in the eye.

The amount of Valentine's day spam I'm getting from various companies is quite annoying. Might buy myself a box of chocolates, though! :p

With you just getting married and being all luvey dovey :D
hmmm we actually arent the lovey dovey type, If either of us started being that way the other would wonder what was wrong!:D:D

I dont whine! I beer wine is dis.... ohhhhhh erm actually It genuinely doesnt bother me that much. I know a lot of women are like that I find that ungrateful seabiscuit does things for me and us and I do for him every day I dont need a specific day.:)

It's a fun little tradition, but something that is pointless to go OTT with.

Though if you don't live together, spend the evening together, no facebook/forums etc... and just enjoy each other's company - cook a meal and enjoy each other's company.

Well I’ve gone nuts and ordered some flowers (being Oxford ever had to pay through the nose for them too) to be delivered to a lass I like at work with a clue there for, me. Normally I'm not so brave
