i spent a few hours on this this morning before work and im hooked, it seems to of done everything right, the art style, the music, the atmosphere, the characters, the battle system, its just an all round beautiful game and at any point you can just stop and look at the scenery and its great.
couple of little gripe is i would love to zoom in a bit on the world map to make it easier to decide what enemies to fight and to try get a back attack on. I know this is part of a RPG/JRPG and the fact they cant spend all the budget on voice actors but i would have thought at this stage all text could be voiced? (surely its not disc capacity on bluray and how much audio can be compressed these days) although to keep the text in the correct accent is a very nice touch!
im too early in to judge if this is up with the top games of the generation but its got the potential for it, and as im sure many are i cant wait until i can start capturing them and build myself a familiar army (im presuming you can hold more then your battle team??)
absolutely loving the game so far. its just like watching an anime
I've just got past ding dong dell, and i'm heading for the desert now. one thing i have noticed.... i like Mr Drippy, quite a cool sidekick character to have actually. but is it me, or does his accent keep dipping in and out of a mixture of welsh/scottish!? haha
Just you, I thinkDrippy is voiced by a Welsh actor (Steffan Rhodri) so it should be a pretty authentic accent.
I've hit quite a difficulty spike but have no complaints as I love a challenge in an JRPG and not felt like I've had one in a while.![]()
i want to play this, but im not paying £50 damn PSN I dont wanna wait
Im about levels 25-30 but find im almost going back to using mite, any other gooduns you could reccomend? I have some but i evolved them recently so not quite upto the right level as the rest of the party yet
On the subject of familiars , how do I create more , I only have mite but cant seem to create any more?
thanks
I used mite right through out, he does feel a little slow near the end though, as a second for Oliver, Purrloiner is a decent choice when more speed is needed.
Not sure how far on you are... But you pretty much catch them, all will become clear later on mate.
I tend to take knock for knock close up with my little guy, Then when it's getting a little full on I bail out with a switch to Oliver, It's more important to defend or evade the big attacks, which will sometimes drop a golden orb. Grab that and you will get a decent attack in.
