Can you download European maps ?. I'm driving around Spain this year & don't want to lose my S3 to the pickpockets in Barcelona......
I am surprised this phone isn't more popular though. When I called my local 02 store a few days ago, the guy I spoke to said they still have plenty in stock.
Maybe the word just needs to get out a bit more.

Tom I tried to input my IMEI code into the Nokia website to claim a free shell cover (not telling what colour I chose

Makes sense. Maybe it stops people from claiming shells and then returning under DSR.
The green looks REALLY impressive, I wish it came in that color with 02.
Also glad to hear their is no issues with scrolling on your devices. Hopefully mine is the same, will be here tomorrow before 10:30, shame I work till 12:30!
It should be absolutely fine. In everyday use I can't tell the difference between my wife's HTC 8s* (basically the same as the 620) and my Lumia 820 (in terms of responsiveness).
*Picked up before the 620 was officially given a launch date - otherwise she would have it instead of the 8s.
Looking at it, this looks around the same size as my iPhone 4, which is ideal but hopefully one of these wouldn't put me on mute every time I put the phone to my ear.
Comparing the two, is this roughly the same specification or would I be getting a slight upgrade or improvement over my 4?

So mine arrived today.
The build quality is fantastic, very solid with a sleek design. Compared to other devices in this price range it looks like it costs more than £150.
I have noticed the ever so slight touch screen lag. On the main menu for example when you swipe and down the menus, your touches don't seem to register as instant. Not really a big deal, has anyone else noticed it though ?

no I don't notice any lag. I don't have another Lumia phone to compare it against though. Seems perfectly ok to me.
Can anyone help with a windows phone question.
Access Point - what does this setting do? I set mine to O2 PAYG just now.
Also when I try to download Twitter its says cant download - check data connection settings.. I have it set to OFF as at home. Do you know why I'm getting this message.

It's a little noticeable. I've just swapped to my 620 from my 820 today as I love the little thing. It's fantastic.
Just leave it on and switch WiFi on. Make sure you don't have any apps running in the background that could be using data.
Also the Access Point application is Nokia's way of settings the correct data/mms APNs to the device so that your SIM card works with the device and so you can swap SIMs. That's all. Nothing exciting
Do you have any idea what's actually causing it mate? So it's indefinably nothing hardware related and is probably just something to do with the W8 os?

Just bought one from the local Virgin Media store, it's working with my spare T-mobile SIM so *may* be SIM free
*I know Virgin run on EE's network but previous phones haven't worked
Virgin use T-Mobile, so expect your sim will work. Not sim free though

If you got it from a Virgin store and you go to settings -> about and under carrier it says 'Virgin' or 'CV GB' then it is unlocked.

Most definitely won't be hardware. I'll mention it to the relevant people and see if anything is being done about it. I won't be able to say anything on here though unless it's made public by Nokia of course, as I'm sure you'll understand.

Thanks - So you certainly know what I'm on about in relation to the slightly delay touch response when scrolling then? I was just paranoid (as always) that it might have been something wrong with my device!
