I've read on Notebook forums, they aren't expecting an R5 until Haswell, and they are normally pretty good over there with timeframes.

Yeah, Dell won't make a new revision without a major GPU/CPU change. If you look at all previous revisions, everyone has coincided with a CPU revision

The 660 is still a good GPU. The biggest shame is it's not a 1080P screen, but if you're not bothered about that then it's fine. Let us know if you go for it ;-)

Cancelled it.... i totally forgot about the 900 screen... would really like a 1080.... should be back on there soon.. just told Dell to cancel it...

It doesn't sound like a worthy upgrade for you if you dont need it, i have it in my R4 but i do a lot of rendering/3D work...

Managd to get R4 with Geforce 675 in my basket today .....performance wise close to 7970? (still have to check if 1050 is worth it)
Tests - 7970 will kill 675 ...damn will have to hunt for 7970, this one will go probably in a flash
