Shocking but expected from MS I guess
today they will either fix or expect to see a lot of negative online articles about this. MS knew on 7th Feb there was a problem but since then nothing other than they are working on it
This means if you play any GFWL title you cannot access the Co-Op/MP or register new titles/download patches/earn achvs online etc etc basically anything which depends on the online servers.
Since GFWL launched in 2007 this is the longest outage ever its never ever been down before for more than a few hours. The worrying thing is that this coincedes with the Halo 2 servers shutdown in a few days I think the 2 events are linked as Halo 2 was the first GFWL title (although it was released 2 days after Shadowrun) the service was designed around these 2 titles initially. Most likely someone @ MS turned the Halo 2 servers off early & this took GFWL down as the GFWL team were sacked or moved to Windows 8 in 2011 so no-one is left to fix this
its tied to Xbox LIVE & that's been running fine over the same time period
If anyone bought the XP booster packs on special offer for AOE Online last week they are timed for 24 hours so you would lose the 1000 Empire Points (around £20 worth) until/unless you can get someone from support to refund you or give you those again.
GFWL was effectively retired last year I wonder how long MS will bother keeping the servers running as so many games depend on them still (69 in all) & some of the developers/publishers are no longer around so few could remove it this means a lot of unplayable GFWL games @ sometime in the future

Try playing an online GFWL services game not SP like Batman!! (which would have signed you in with your online GFWL profile in offline mode most likely).
