French driver trapped for an hour in speeding 125mph car with no brakes

Just tried it with my grand espace, that won't turn off when moving, and the handbrake which is electric also won't work.
Another thing to note is you dont need to put the card in to start/run the car

I leave the house and as soon as im within 4-5 metres of the car it unlocks itself, i can leave the card in my pocket/coat and press start, aslong as it remains within range it will run fine.

better, add though the steering lock would automatically engage also

No, you cant restart it, but it wont just stop.

To stop it while driving the button needs to be held for 3+ seconds, likewise the handbrake can be over riden in the same way.

they are antihijack keycards, they shut the car off if someone pulls you out, it will as ive had it shut off forgetting to take the the card with me.

Im not sure if it 'just stopped' as i was only 50metres down the street, but it cut the engine yes.
