What 3rd party kernels and ROMs are people using? Want to see if I can get some better battery life out of it!

Update finally came in, lost root but OTA Root keeper solved that. Now to have a play with it...

Quite a good few changes that makes the device a little more comfortable to use. RAM usage dropped by 400mb for me as well

Is it possible to subscribe for their availability? Some friends are desperate for a tablet and have their eyes firmly on the Nexus 10. Are there any serious issues with the most recent ones?

you must have missed out on the last batch was only a few weeks ago but sold out within a few days

Couldnt tell you as I didnt actually buy one.... I know Jinxy bought a 16gb one and had some problems so sent his back.

Still perched on the fence over the nexus 10. The 32gb seems to always be out of stock because they have to keep sending the new ones out to replace people's returned ones, which isn't a great sign. The 16gb version has about 13gb free? Which means fitting one, maybe two episodes of an HD tv series. How fast is the USB port for transferring files? Especially for trying to play them direct from the USB.

If a developer can get android apps to work on Ubuntu then I will be very tempted to flash it, early stages but it looks very promising.
