I'm better off getting a nexus 7 32gb for £169
Where have you seen them for that? 16gb is £169, 32gb is £199 as far as I can see.

For watching TV and stuff I'd take a 16:10 (Nexus 7) screen over a 4:3 screen everytime (assuming they're otherwise of comparable quality).
I have no idea about SkyGo etc working on Android though, as I download all my TV and only stream SC2 tournaments (via flash in browser).
Hopefully SkyGo will work on it. Worse comes to worse I'll just use my iPhone 5 lol
It's much better for kids because you can get a kid friendly launcher rather than the wall of icons on iOS where they can get lost/break stuff/do things they shouldn't.
Ohhh that's a very good point, what launcher are you using? Since my younger cousins nicks my tablet when they're around.
My weekend job. Get 15% discount. Hopefully I did the maths right lol.
It will work. Even if it's supplied with 4.2.2 (unlikely) then downgrading is just a case of running a batch file in a zip supplied by Google:
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#occam
Or if you're not happy with that then it won't be long at all before there is 4.2.2 support.
With you now.
I think you've made the right choice.
Nexus 7 32Gb for £169 is a tough proposition to beat.
