The large Ribble is going to be closest to a 56cm Allez, but that depends on whether your current bike feels comfortable to you or not.

Yeah, when I get a summer bike I'll probably look at that. I like the look of those carbon ribbles, especially the gran fondo. I've got a 54cm Crux Elite at the mo and it's about spot on for standover (if slightly too big) but I could do with a touch more reach. Looking at the ribble though the standover would be immense if I got a large. I'm 5'9 with stumpy legs.

It's pretty close, you may need a slightly longer stem to compensate for the shorter top tube though I'd ride the bike for a bit before deciding.

Yea sorry, i mean so i can load my 3LC DVDs up and then do them whilst trainer road is running in the background. Ive only had a play at my desk moving the magnet past the sensor by hand, my main reason for it is i only want to know my watts, during my time trail DVD and sprint

Rip them on your PC to an MP4 file, then you can drag & drop them into TrainerRoad so the video will auto start when you start pedalling and it will be synced up to the video perfectly

AFAIK you still need to load a ride even if you want to do your own thing, but there are free ride workouts with no targets built in so it just displays your data. Search "free ride" and load one of an appropriate length.

Proper annoyed!
There was a Strava segment i was joint KOM with someone else, beat them last week and now was top on my own.
They have now flagged it as unsafe as it goes through a mini roundabout and created a new one that ends before the roundabout and give it the same name but added SAFE at the end....surprise surprise they are now KOM on that.
I think he commutes via the segment sometimes when there is going to be a tailwind but his commute times are when its rush hour so he could never beat my time as the roundabout was too busy and i commute past that point at 6.15am.
Do Strava review it and decide whether to reinstate it at some point?

40mm or 50mm deep No Logo rims or Espresso deep V's are probably better value than those. Apart from the hollow axle, Nova tech hubs are identical to a whole host of other track hubs (e.g. System EX, Zenith, Halo) and they're all pretty silky smooth on the bearings. I've done a LOT of miles on mine and not had to touch them yet. Just check you get your choice of braking surface, because I think Espressos don't come with a braking surface.

Aye, i know he looks to be faster in general than me (a lot of miles/time in) so more incentive to go quicker i guess.
Annoying though, just cus he couldnt get his own way and beat me on that segment.
I ordered the espresso ones a few weeks ago but just got a refund for it as it was delayed and to be honest I didn't trust the company(fixedgearfrenzy) selling it.
Checking espresso website now and it comes at £150 then you have to pay delivery as well. About the rim sizes how does the 40mm+ feel like?

Has he just created it?
It will retrospectively go through your rides and add you to new segments that people create after your ride, but sometimes it takes a while for that to happen.
So you might find that you end up on top of that segment soon, or you might have to go and beat him.
