Nearly 30% faster than a 7970 in BF3. Looks pretty good, but only 14% in Crysis3 which is probably the most graphicaly heavy game around at the mo. Hmm.
No by a yard it is the most CPU demanding game around, alledgedly.

Maybe at my res they will come into their own, time will tell
I think at your resolution they will do much better.

I guess we'll know for sure in an hour though.
That crysis 3 slide is the classic example of why I'll never go multi GPU, sometimes you just dont get the benefit, simple.
17% in FC3 is not too great either really. Those results make the Ares II look a much better buy.
Not doubting that Titan may be the fastest single GPU available, and it may be ideal for people who are running high resolutions, across multi-screens on games that don't scale.
However...
+20% (in the majority of the tests) over a 7970 IS disappointing if these benchmarks are anywhere near accurate
and in the higher res, graphically demanding benchmarks, which people are saying is where Titan will excel - the video was showing an improvement in the range of e.g. 23.8fps for a 7970, 30.7fps for a titan - both still sub 30fps, and not what I would consider playable.
As I've said before I won't be buying Titan, as I am clearly a scrub who cannot afford it. However, just because I won't be buying it doesn't necessarily mean I want it to fail...
IF Titan is much faster, and IF it is not a limited availability publicity stunt product, then AMD would be worried, and release something to compete - benefiting us all AMD or NVIDIA fans... Competition is normally good for everyone.

Far Cry 3 runs like garbage on NVIDIA cards in my experienceOne problem I see with them graphs the farcry 3 and metra result pulll near the same fps last time I played metro was way more demanding the far cry 3![]()
The leaked results so far show the kind of performance I would have expected from the nest generic $499 GTX 780. This is supposed to be an enigma of a card. A new tier above.. So far the performance doesn't justify this cards title or price..
I hope the reviews can show this card in a better light. Atm it looks like Nvidia have gone nuts with the price, trying to take advantage of there being nothing else new a year after the 6XX series launched...
Fingers crossed the official reviews show why this card is worth $1000.
