∞ Whats your start up time? Or how fast are you?

15-20 seconds and that's with a 750GB Momentus XT, I'm still surprised that it boots that fast, considering I never turn off/reset my PC unless it's necessary. (Windows updates and etc.)

I don't know

But with Windows 8 it's stupidly fast, it saves a lot of info in a hibernation-esque file, so booting takes literally seconds.

Personally though, I use sleep mode with no password prompt on wake (or boot for that matter) my monitors take longer to turn on than my pc :D

Mine takes about 20 seconds, the boot from ssd to windows takes around 8 seconds perhaps, its just my mobo takes a fair while to get into the bios. So it takes a bit longer.

Here's an example i done a little while ago, with instantboot enabled. Taken it off now because the shut down is a pain.

Boot time to Start on W8 is fast, however, after clicking desktop (why of why can I not just drop straight to it? I'm never likely to do anything but go there!) just like previous versions of windows you still have to wait for all your stuff to load, I'd rather they didn't show the desktop at all until it's finished. I'd go as far to say that it was actually quicker in W7 as there was no pause while I clicked on the desktop tile.

Thats with instant boot, in total it takes a good while, but from post bios to desktop, it takes around 8-10 seconds, its a pretty fresh install of windows 7, so there aren't many start up things dragging it down, done all the things they tell you when putting it in, so im not too sure.

20 sec with intel storage turned off, 22 with it on, no idea why either

m/b installed it, using a 2 adata pro 256gb sdd not in raid with a 3tb hdd on a Asus P8Z77-V LX2 Intel Z77 m/b with 16gb of ram on a 4ghz i7

win 7 pro

Another 13 seconds exactly (from power button to stable desktop) - Windows 7 + expresscache + samsung opptimised boot mode. With an SSD it would drop to approx 10 seconds.
