I recently aquired a 2tb hdd and I have windows installed on a 400gb hdd.

I was wondering if I'd be better off as I suspect by reinstalling windows on the 2tb hdd and just keeping the 400gb as extra storage but not for applications?

Thanks :)

If I was you I would make a small partition on the 2tb drive for Windows and use the 400gb drive for backup or extra space. You will notice a big difference in Windows using the faster drive.

Definitely create a small (200gb) partition for Windows - doing so will result in short stroking, resulting in further benefits from the already faster driver. Use the remaining space as storage, or even the 400gb for storage.
