Possibly - the human body is an absolute bar steward for studying because of hte variables inbolved. However, there is no good body of evidence (that I've found, and not necessarily experience) of glutamine supplementation helping with this in healthy adults, simply because it is quite readily available to the body in well-nourished people.
Now that could be because the test/hypothesised criteria were not along the lines of what we're looking at here (depth of sleep and DOMS recovery), and I'm not going to discount that.
I suppose the way to isolate whether the ornithine is doing something as opposed to the AKG would be to consume AAKG, which does not elicit the same IGF/GH spike as ornithine... this IGF/GH spike is why I started out on OAKG rather than AAKG, but not having tried AAKG I can't say whether or not it does the same thing...
