Is that the Gerber Suspension Multi-tool? I was looking at one on Amazon for something like £18 but by the time I got paid it rose in price to £30.

Not sure if that was a dig at me or not but I certainly don't feel guilty about not totally self funding my trip. For the approximately one thousand pounds of fundraising that will go towards covering part of my trip its currently looking like near enough seventeen thousand will end up in the charity coffers. I consider that a fair return, yes in a perfect world it would 100% go to the charity, however its not a perfect world and its better than the charity receiving nothing.

Although i have a lot of respect for people doing any kind of charity work if the trip is funded by the donations then what is the person who does the trip pay into the charity as they obviously don't have any money or they would pay for the trip themselves?

Not a dig by the way its just something i don't understand :)

My next shirt arrived today from AmiAmi over in Japan. No custom charges again! :D

Think this is my favourite shirt, the colours are really rich and bright while my other full graphic shirts are not so as much.

Well in this specific case we approached the charity about tagging along on one of there standard packages. What we found was we could run our own trip at less cost, with a greater percentage going to the charity. As such we have organised our own independent trip ourselves, covering most of our own cost ourselves with the hope of the rest being covered by business sponsorship so anything donated by individuals goes 100% to the charity.

However we have allowed the charity to market it on their website and open it up to anybody who would want to go but beyond the odd consultation and approach for advice, the charity gets a cheque at the end of it, with negligible effort and no investment on their part.

Anyone else do a double take because of the way they have placed her hand.
