It's a nice sentiment but even prior to your chances of getting a sellable item to drop being extremely slim, way back in the early days of release, playing the game via the AH was by far still the most profitable way of both lining your pockets and progressing your character.

I'd like to see them seriously outline many, many ways to make actually playing the game be the better method of progressing your character over just wheeling and dealing on the AH. Whatever it is also has to be there for the next big content release as that is their second chance when they will get a big influx of players again.

Even taking the new bind on account stuff - that could have been implemented to ensure people played more. The recipes themselves could have also been BoA, buying every single one for 5-10k gold a pop seemed a bit of a cut corner. Hell... make legendaries post-buff be BoA also. **** the AH sideways, it's always going to lead the game into a gear/gold inflated mess dominated by botting and duping.

I would like them to release a new mode where you have compete control of your points progression like in diablo 2, would be nice to return to the old way of manually making your char in a very specific way( but only if you wanted to ), it generated replays when you found it to be not so great or just to try something else. the way its set up now is kind of noobish because theres no real punishment it just becomes a gear grind.

I'd also like to see the rune system reintroduced for the ability to make uber gear, don't get me wrong i dont want it to be diablo 2 all over again, i played that game enough. But the rune system is a great addition that i thought was very unique and awesome.

Also i like Path of Exiles take on hardcore with your char dropping into normal gameplay if you die instead of you losing everything, there should be significant bonuses for playing in hardcore, such as items you could only get in hardcore that are account bound. the hellfire ring would be a perfect example, its so hard to get if you made it hardcore drop only, it would be even more awesome. if your char then died you'd still be able to use it but obviously its account bound.

You selling up and quitting completely or you have other chars and just don't want your barb anymore?

I've recently just got back into Diablo3 and my mate lost his chars to a hacker so we started again.

I've made some decent gold so far and have only reached lvl 44

Yeah selling up. I don't have any other chars worth anything, so just the barb. Spent quite a bit of money on it however and I have no idea how much he is worth.

Hey all, quick question on the monster power setting and coop.

I'll be starting a new coop game soon with a mate, both new characters, but we're concerned it may be a little too easy on normal difficulty, which is all we have access to right now. (I'm in act 3 on my first character).

My question is, on normal difficulty with a 2 man coop, how much does the game buff up the difficulty compared to 1 player running through normal? We don't want it to be a walk over, which normal seems to be solo at least. Is it worth setting the monster power setting to 1-2 to make things a little tougher from the get-go or would completely new characters (not really twinked) get steamrolled in a 2 player coop from the start with that enabled?

Cheers :)

True, they should have that this sorted ages ago. I just hope it does get sorted though, as sooner rather than later, as I'd like to come back and play it again but at the moment it's not really worth doing.

Anyone knows any good website where you can compare gold price with rmah gold price?
I have heard everyone i buying gold from third party sites. Is it cheaper?

I levelled my barb up through normal on MP1 and 2 with gear picked up off the ground. Give it a go, if you're finding it too easy, ramp it up another power and if its too hard lower it back down.

Does anyone have a fix for the stuttering in this game? I've only recently started playing the game again, but the stuttering is really annoying me. I don't remember getting stuttering when I played back at release last year... I could be wrong though.

i've got a monk currently lvl 27 i think. on normal at monster power 10 with super exp gear (190+ exp per kill) plus major % bonus through cains , mp and a 29% ruby, so you might be able to tell that i've not got much defense but being monk makes up for that. i'm litterally running through everything i just killed belial final form in 4 hits. with 2 people it should be even easier. Yes its supposed to get harder but your reducing how much work you have to do yourself and if in trouble on person can draw away, i would make one of you a ranged (wiz/witch/hunter) and the other a tank (monk/ barb/witch) you can make all chars do whatever with the right gear but if one of you is a monk you'll walk it all.

to be simple
pick chars that compliment each other monk/demon hunter, wizard/ barb, witch/demon hunter. etc etc

you play style should be one gets in and hits hard the other backs up, this switches around depending on what enemies your fighting.

gear is important- use the auction house every 10 levels or so and learn to use it properly( youtube guides)

rank your MP level at 3 and if its easy increase it, when you hit nightmare you'll see a change and probs lower it

buy yourself some raidient emeralds and sell those for gold on AH instead.

1 million is £0.25
1 emerald is £2.65 but you'll get 32million for it when sold in AH

thats 20 million + more than buying the gold from RMAH

use Ctrl alt delete,
bring up task manager,
go into processes,
right click diablo,
set priority,
set high,
your welcome

Just started playing this a few days ago. Been an age since I played a game like this, hack and slash. Was a bit strange at first but game seems fairly epic and fun.

Just playing on normal for the moment, how many hours is the story mode?

you can complete each act in an hour if your very quick on normal , but it takes as long as you like. to complete inferno from the beggining depends on how quick you level and attain gear it can fluctuate heavily.

my account is ryukaiser and i have many low level chars if you want to run through a few missions or get stuck on a boss, i can give you a hand.
