Does it show as shipped in your account? Mine just shows 'sent to fulfilment'. The guy I spoke to initially said that as its only released tomorrow then it wouldnt be shipped until tomorrow and would then take 5-10 days...

I explained it said it would be shipped for delivery on date of release when I ordered, but he really didn't seem to know how they deal with pre-orders...

Thanks, that gives me some hope. Tempted to order from GMG if it doesnt arrive, though I guess they will no longer have the limited edition after launch day?

Then again, reading all the posts about server issues it may not matter either way... :)
 
Our friends at Origin have enabled early authentication for SimCity for customers in Europe. This will allow you to download the SimCity launcher in advance of release and will help get you into the game as quickly as possible once it unlocks in your region.

yet ive got a popup saying its an unreleased title, and i must wait until the offical release before i can install..

thats pretty stupid i have a disk, and im still unable to install the damn game

the launchers only like 100mb or so anyway lol.

my actual game install is only 3.7gb so theres not a lot to download
 
ive just vpn'd it from america.

i thought it was meant to be released today so why is it saying its not out yet?

is everyone else using america or a european vpn?

Managed to add you in the end and join but the chat is so laggy, it must be like 10-15 mins behind?

Anyway built a pretty impressive town so far, which just plunged into darkness because I was borrowing power from you arknor. :D

So I'm guessing I can't buy power off you because I've been disconnected?

Hope it resyncs soon. :confused:
 
So can it actually be played now doing all of these VPN methods or are there still issues getting onto the game?

Is this a multi player game? With the need to connect to the servers and potentially connecting to regions named OcUK doesn't it mean that say 5 of us could go onto the OcUK region and build cities?

If not, what is the purpose of being connected online to a server to play as a single player mode?



Finally, where is the cheapest to get this from? I've seen the india site is £18.. next cheapest is £36 from GMG?
