sounds like a case of sim****ty

If your so against it and aren't going to play, why bother posting in this thread exactly? :/

Capacity of the cities?

I read somewhere that they said it was impractical due to the processing power they needed, basically, having a city with interactive / independent people or something like that limits the size of the city v play ability.

I meant general hosting, which was answered just below my post, sounds like they are increasing it to cope.

Apparently the servers should be down for maintenance for two hours and will be up at 12am GMT... which is a great time to finish maintenance btw. :D

holy **** I managed to get in and load the ocuk region! hellz yea

Lasted all of 2 bloody minutes

All the reviews are pretty bad or mediocre at best, the game cannot actually be played at the moment and yet I am still tempted to purchase the damn thing. Says a lot about the current state of city sim games when this game is a seemingly viable option, even broken :(

you gotta love the irony of people complaining about a game they are trying to play earlier than its release date in their country.

Im not saying all the complaints aint justified it just amuses me to see people using VPN's etc like its their right to have the game early :)

Yes its very fashionable to pile up the hate on EA, god knows blizzard deserved it too with the diablo launch, but its hardly a suprise now is it.

Now tomorrow when its the official release for UK then the venting will be justified, until then ill wait for my copy to unlock, if it doesnt work tomorrow ah well, plenty of other games to be played

One thing is for sure im lookin forward to getting into it once the servers are sorted :p

You do realise the game is out in almost every country if not every country other than the UK right? you think something is going to magicly change over night?

Ahh yea your right they are purposely holding all the launch servers back for the UK because the UK is special nevermind 99% of the world where the game is already released they aren't worth the proper launch servers....

If they didn't do that though their servers would have melted more than they already have.

I've got no problem with the uk release date being behind but he's acting like its only people in the UK using VPN's that can't play and it's all going to be alright as if by magic at midnight
