SimCity V (2013) - screens/artwork and information

"I'll just heck my city for 5 mins while i get ready.... oh its 6pm!" Hehe. Im hoping i will at least be able to plwy this evening. Is anyone else here on mysteam?
 
Can't wait till I get mine, Ordered it, should be here today.

Hopefully EA fixed the problems with all their servers because by the sounds of things the US launch wasn't very exciting.
 
Kinda 50/50 on whether to actually bother playing yet due to all the people having issues, but mostly due to the corrupted cities where they end up having to roll-back their city.

I'm leaving it till the end of the month. If EA haven't sorted their **** out by then I'll pass.
 
Are people still having issues with this? Missus's account downloaded the game really quickly this morning <10 minutes and then it was ready to play. Didn't get chance to play through as that was before work. :(

On another note my copy may still arrive today.... Hope it does!

The servers have been pretty stable since last night, chat is still not working, not sure if thats just me though?

It will be interesting to see how the servers hold up at europe prime time since thats when diablo 3 online-only servers buckled.

I'm there as dravello, took a spot last night. Will start building Smog up later this morning!
 
Looks like the first OcUK server is nearing capacity, and EU East 2 is showing as Busy for me.

I have set up OcUK #2 on EU West 1, a 16 player private region.

Origin / ingame name = McSniz

Let me know if you would like an invite. :)


EDIT: OcUK #2 is on Europe West 4 as West 1 was having lots of stability issues.

with any luck i'll have some time tonight to try get logged onto a server and fail miserably at making a small town...
 
So just got the money I payed for this back in my account. However I still have the game on Origin. Feels good to get a freebie off EA! :p
 
played last night it only seemed like minutes but hours flew by without a hitch, love the game, now i am red eyed at work craving to go back home and play again, unfortunately for me i am on a 13 hour shift :'(

EU West 2 is showing as Busy for me, the only "Busy" Europe server, maybe worth picking another one? just seems it might be packed if it's Busy at 9 in the morning on a Friday. Sent you a friend request though (Teaf).
