SimCity V (2013) - screens/artwork and information

That's all i seem to keep getting, how are people managing to play for so long to build cities?

i saw a message about half an hour ago saying you were sending alloy to an arcology (region wall thing on the top right of the screen). I keep looking over there though and your site is still blank.

im halfway to saving up for an international airport for ours. I already have some oil stored so ill see what happens in a bit...

Ok I think we've got it, this game isn't for you, maybe move onto a thread for a game you do/will like to cheer yourself up a bit. This game will only get better and better despite the face it's £A running it all.
 
This really is taking the ****, a game that really has no need to be online all the time and I can't play it because servers are busy. Shocking customer treatment, I'm hard pushed to think of pretty much any other industry where a company thinks acceptable to sell you something and then prevent you from using the item with a "try again in 20mins" error.

If it's a MMO then that's one thing but SimCity? Taking the weewee... :(

Playing a region with friends and I went full commerce which meant high land value. Made a satellite city for the poor folk too so its mainly high density residential. I think you could probably fit mebbe 500k in a region if you really tried but the effort is making me ;/ atm. Street car avenues that are gridlocked despite full bus/tram services is making me quite irate!

See that is where you are so very wrong!

I love the game series, played the very first one on my first pc. Even play sim city 4 with all the mods still. I know this game inside and out, so yeah maybe because I understrand the game so well I expected more. What is there looks fantastic and all the nice new touches add to the game even if it is very simplified but with that easier to enjoy fot the casual gamer.

I guess some will not understand having not played through the series from day one. This game deserves plaudits for looks and ease to play but it by my reckoning is missing so much of what made the game so brilliant to play.


Made worse by the price and the fact new players to the game cant get in :( I expect holding back on mass rail transit like undergrounds etc will fleece even more coin out of the customer. It will get better obviously but with add on packs. Beofre you know it you’ve paid £50-100 for a game to have everything it should have had from the start.

I wasn't wrong about my point, everything you've said in previous posts was negativity about the new game. We all know it's current flaws, but most of us know it will improve.

Btw I've played all the games in the series as well.
 
this is ****** stupid...

Cant load my own city no matter what...

tried to spectate thezekarums and loaded it fine... I'm started to wonder if my ****** city is bugged or something stupid **** game

Doesn't help that anytime you try to join a stupid game it downloads all your "savegame" from the stupid EA server and its liked 50mb+ of crap that should be on your comp in the ****** first place.

no wonder the servers are so hammered when there DRM BS is using stupid amounts of bandwidth
 
If you want to play in a region with other people you know, do you need to connect to the same server?
