**** Official Titan owners thread. ****

Mineral oil is cool but I wouldn't want to swap bits over :D

Looks very good Neil :)

+1

3 Titans work very well together.:)

I think I have solved my little problem of where to put my Titans.

I have ordered one of these, but all black inside. I don't know if they are any good but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

but yes, a single Titan is very close to the performance of 2 670's, but without any risk of SLI problems (though to be fair I'd had none of those either)

if you are running say a 2560 monitor and are dead set against SLI then it's the only choice really

^^ This, I came from a single 670 4GB @ 1254mhz it was very fast. Still the Titan blew it away, feels as fast as 7970 crossfire but much smoother with less power use, single card..

I'm running 1440P screen and Titan really is ideal, yeah it's expensive but when you factor in the performance and 6GB frame buffer is it really that bad?

I could have gone dual 670 4GB for similar price of 1 Titan and had higher max fps but use more power consumption, less performance in games that aren't great with SLI and more heat in my case..

We're getting all of this now aswell at a time when upgrades are very small and there really isn't anything new out, or on the near horizon especially from AMD's side.. I really don't think it's that bad.. Can always buy it, enjoy it, sell it before the next cards launch, keep the value in PC..

It's a bit of both, it's bickering between people, it's trolling by people, it's just not needed and must stop :)

Any further issues - RTM them.

So if somebody posts misinformation, you're only allowed to correct them once even if they develop their incoherent argument into something else for fear of it being termed "bickering"?

I just wish you'd deal with the instigator rather than the souls who get caught up in it trying to ensure the correct message is given. Problem solved :p.

I have sent you an email Hilly. Pretty fed up of one person ruining a thread (again) and what Rusty said, I couldn't agree more with.

I am all up for debate but lies/trolls/bickering I am not.

I don't see anyone crossing the line at the moment and yes, I'm reading EVERY post in this thread. I want this to stay a good discussion about the awesome Titans.

Some people are posting opinions but I don't see it as trolling,......yet. Just a lack of knowledge.

No Rusty, that's you being a pedant. If someone posts misinformation around a certain topic again and again, then put them right; But you get the snese of when something might possibly escalate into taking the thread further away from where it should be; That's when something needs to happen. Hence the fancy yellow writing - It wasn't aimed at any one in particular, it was just a friendly nudge to all to show you that the mods are watching and are aware.

And I've replied Greg.

Agreed, every one on this forum can help improve this by using the RTM function if you feel as though people are trolling; Leave us to deal with it rather than getting involved as everything just snow balls.

Agreed Rilot, and this is why nothing has been actioned from within the thread. Just be aware that 'big brother' is watching.

Now, go enjoy those Titans, you lucky ******** ;)

I have spent the past three days testing and playing no end of games on these 3 cards at 2560x1440. After hours of hard work I have a very simple conclusion.

Titan is best, 690 is fastest and 680 does the job.

Simples... :D
