Yep.

Traffic wasn't bad, but I'm wondering if those "not enrolled" actually missed the deadline for starting school (if there is one..)

Not sure what to say then really, mind you I've had some strange goings on with Education as well. I have two Primaries, one secondary and a University and I cant make enough educated people for my industrial sector.

I think there is something majorly wrong with the game in the way it handles a lot of these processes. But hey so far I've seen a video where someone builds a town full of high value residential with NO commerce or industry and its a viable SimTown

They commuting to another town in the region for work?

Can you do the things you could have done in simcity 4 like drive cars, ambulance? Also apparently you could follow one civilian around for the whole day, any truth to this?

How do you make serious money? i have a pop of 40,000 and only making 300 an hour.

You need to start very slowly. Besides power, water, sewage treatment and fire firefighters you don't need anything else until population growth starts to stagnate or sims seriously complain (should be able to fill the entire map before this happens). Once it stagnates introduce police and so on. Initially this will obviously decrease your profit but the increase in sims will eventually offset this.

Well if thats the case they are ignoring my industrial plants screaming for workers that are educated

I've seen the same in one of my cities with a University. Given that a sim just goes to the nearest vacant job every day rather than having a particular job it's probaby a bug. They'll fix it.

I have to admit what I would give my right nut for is a Windowed maximize mode so the game doesn't pause when I want to go read something or do something while the game whiles away in quiet periods.

I seem to be doing ok for traffic and skilled workers etc but have a major problem with water. I've already had to move my water plant because of polluted water, and now at the second plot the water table is running dry. I've scattered as many water towers as physically possible and can only just meet supply. As soon as the pump stops its game over.

Also none of the others in the region atm have water :(

I think 200k might be the end of my town without a better water supply.
