Pc graphics. No where near as good as consoles !

In a discussion at work today about games. The two guys I was talking with we're deciding weather to get the ps4 or new Xbox. So I said everybody should just switch to pc gaming as its far better. To which one of them replied "yeah but the graphics ain't half as good on a pc"
Lol some people are too funny.
 
They have probably never seen a proper gaming rig, why don't you invite them round to experience PC gaming rather than making fun of someone who isn't aware PC graphics aren't just what you get with an average laptop on low settings

Yes because "inviting them round to experience pc gaming" is obviously possible in every work scenario.

most likely it is yes...

Anyway what he could do is show them one of the fake gran turismo 6 trailers on youtube and after when they are saying how awesome it looks and a PC could never have those graphics inform them it's actually pcars for pc :D

Such a pain explaining to the other kids at school how "wasd" works. It's also a pain convincing them how much more superior our hardware is compared to theirs.
 
They are clearly just winding you up....its a bit like someone saying a Focus is faster that a Porsche 911.......both do the same job....one is just faster and more expensive.

Some people do actually believe consoles have better graphics unfortunately.

Nope...


Basically, when the last gen launched, the graphics were pretty comparable with high end PC rigs (at least at the time of announcement).
So for a few months, the fact that consoles have better graphics than PC went undisputed, and therefore ingrained itself into the minds of many gamers.

As most console gamers are oblivious to the advances in PC gaming, some still believe it to be true.
It took a long time (and showing them no less that 3 high end gaming rigs) to convince some of my most stubborn friends.

For some reason this sort of topic always reminds me of when someone ask me what pc to get (for gaming), to which I usually advise them to get buy individual components and assemble it - they then look at me with a confused look on their face. :D
