I think Zero Punctuation/Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw summed it up the best along the lines of "you try to accuse them of not telling you the whole story and you end up blaming them for the Kennedy assassination"

LA Noire!!!

I know some people found it repetitive but I loved almost everything about it, the clothes, the music, the characters and gameplay, the graphics. The only thing I didn't like was the car handling but you can forgive them for that.

Guitar Hero 3

I haven't got round to playing Heavy Rain yet and Guitar Hero 3 is probably the best GH. So many hours put into that game, great fun with friends.

Heavy Rain is my favourite PS3 game so its a vote for Heavy Rain for me today.

Modern Warfare. Awesome game, felt really fresh when it came out and is still better than any CoD game which has come since then.
