Bioshock 3 - Infinite

have anyone bought season pass?
I'm considering buying it but tbh I'm not really sure what they would add to the game that would make me want to play it again. I mainly feel like getting it because I got the game so cheap I kinda feel like I owe it to them for making such a fantastic game when games like Call of Duty sell for £42 and I get this for £23.

Promoting more games like this to be a thing can never be bad

Edit: In fact just got it from Green Man Gaming with their 20% discount code :D

I guess I'm in the same boat...or not now it would seem :p

I really don't know what they can add to the experience that will improve the game for me.

I am infact looking forward to another playthrough so I can look at everything in the different light now that I've complete the game and understand what happened :p

i have not completed it yet but, very close i believe. after 10 hours.

7/10

postives:
graphics
AI
optimization
tweaks
orignal

negatives
1. didn't find a gun i like 100% lot of them felt really weak. 50 bullets to the head not dead... (Hard mode late into game)

2. Mind**** i still don't know whats fully going on

3. Elizabeth helps loads in easy fights but never in harder fights (boss etc)

4. save system is annoying as hell. saves are quite regular but it says
"you last saved @ xx:xx pm" fine by whats the time now? < little niggy but they should have picked that up.

5. if you exit a the game between check points you have to do that section again. most time its 5-10 minutes but not the point. i want a save button.

6. there are enemies late in to the game that are so annoying that i dont want to play it because ill see them again..
the siren guys with there big headed pain in the bum minons that never die....

If they could cut the endless microstuttering even between map loading this game would be pretty awesome.

It's just to irritating to play.

i don't have this file .cfg?

There is no config file, there is a config folder and a bunch and files inside. try xengine.ini.

But I can tell you right away this won't work.

What micro stuttering? i've not had any what so ever....

are you talking about what others members have at loading screens?

bioshock is on a SSD maybe thats why im ok.

For anyone changing the xengine.ini, DONT.

It breaks the game a lot. In some places scripted events just don't happen and so you can't progress and in some sections it just continuously loads. Steam forums are rife with problems and it all has to do with the changing the background loading to false.

Found a write up here that explains the ending really well. Took me a second to piece it all together as well XD

I can tell you right away it does work ;) and even people on Steam game forum say it works.

I changed two option in the file and had no problems at all. Its made the game run 100% better for me. I dont get the frame drops when loading new part of the game, and I DOnt get the FPS cut in-half when using Vsync.

You can avoid the late game Siren guys apart from one of them, the VERY LAST one you ecounter. Study the pattern of the lights it's repeatable and you'll get through no problem.

If you set one off I found Shotgun + Bronco to be a great combo for taking them out especially with a combination of gear to continue to stun on each death etc.

I've played it for about 2 hours. I've no idea what where or when. Very pretty and travelling on these rails swinging about is ****ing ace. Bring it on. (also note I'm playing this on a aging 3 gig Daul core2 chip and a gtx260. Runs sweet. Well I think so. I no longer play games but had to try this out.

I take it:

Everyone watched until the very end of the credits...
Watched most of the credits then decided nothing was going to happen and skipped them. Watched the last bit of them on YouTube.

To anybody that does get to the end. Stick around for the whole credits. Their is a bit at the end ;)

I didn't miss it thankfully...thought there MUST be something else lol!

I think you truly understand the meaning of infinite by the end of it
