How to pronounce ASUS.

I'm a rep for Asus (train retail staff) and I've always said A-Suss and it comes from the end of the word 'Pegasus'. However, they are starting to use the A-Soos pronounciation like in the US to separate it from Acer in the UK.

I've always pronounced it ah-sus untill I worked in Currys for 3 months who told me it was aysus. That was the single computer fact/knowledge I learned there that I either didn't know already or wasn't incorrect. I'm still ashamed that there was even one thing...

Are you pronouncing that 'a' as an American 'a' or an English 'a'?

Also they pronounce Dacia the car company - dayseeya on top gear but in the advert its "Datcha".

I wonder who's in the right on that one. I'm guessing they wouldn't get it wrong in their own advert though...

I seem to remember there being some joke about it on one of the episodes, could be they are pronouncing it wrong on purpose.
