Bioshock 3 - Infinite

They all appear numerous times throughout the game incase you don't pick it up the first time for some reason.
it gives you salts just in a different bottle if you have it already :D

got quite far on 1999 mode bloody hard though. just going to say finkton is where i am just incase people are still going through it the first time, this is my 3rd play through as i had the week off for relaxing break. half way through i thought id buy bioshock not put it down since.

1999 mode was quite tough at the beginning when you only have a pistol and no vigors but becomes trivially easy in the middle (except when facing off against Handymen) then becomes crazy hard again before the end.

Just finished the game there as well and thought it excellent

I really liked the cameo appearance of Rapture but sadly the story suffered somewhat by falling into the same pitfalls that most time-travel and dimension(probability?) hopping stories suffer from.

Okay so I completed this Friday. I like the game and enjoy it but, I'm just not finding it as amazing as everybody else seems to be? The ending seemed a bit 'meh' to me. I was expecting a little more?
It's funny, I felt similarly with 1 - only got about halfway through it before getting bored, and thus never played 2.

This is even more strange because I usually love underwater settings, and of all the settings I dislike, modern history (particularly America and then Britain) are right at the top of the list.

In spite of that, it had me hooked from start to finish.

Still reeling over/digesting the ending, and thinking back to all the little details throughout the game - for example the fact that Songbird couldn't withstand high pressure was written on the blackboard in Fink factory.

Things are starting to make more sense now after reading more about it, although of course so much is open to interpretation.

The only thing I still do not properly understand is the "ghost" Lady Comstock in Emporia, and that we don't see her again after she breaks down the door to Comstock house; the body in the coffin vanishes, and Elizabeth says the "ghost" is part a projection of her anger towards her "mother" (not real mother of course). But I still don't understand what it is, or where it was brought in from. From what I understand, early on in the game Elizabeth mistakenly assumes she can create realities based on what is in her mind, when the rest of the game suggests that things have to have existed in another permutation in the multiverse in order for them to be accessed through tears. So how on Earth is the deceased Lady Comstock a ghostly image with the ability to make tears to "raise the dead"?

download finished last night around 5pm, played it solid for a couple of hours, i think its great.

Im not a huge gamer, the time needed to complete some games, i just don't have. But since i got myself a new laptop that can actually play games like this, i thought why not, and haven't been disappointed.

haven't played the first BioShock, although i remember the advertising vividly, and was annoyed i couldn't play it.

The part of the story I've just got up to is after getting Elizabeth out of the statue and we were on a beach, I got a bit further than that and had to come away at 10pm. Playing on easy due to lack of gamepad or mouse :D

Like how serine it looks like and everyone seems to be having a gay time. Totaly different to how bioshock starts but then
you win the raffle and you start splitting skulls, blood everywere. I kinda feel sorry for messing up the place

Won't tell you where or how as I think it's quite off the beaten path in the game world, but the guitar scene was great. Loved it.

Well just completed it and what a great game however had a problem with the ending.

Just watched the ending again on youtube and apparently my game skipped part of the ending. When you go to the lighthouse for the last time and you are about to get baptised again my game completly skipped the part where all the elizabeths turn up so I missed to most important part about dewitt being comstock. Anyone elses game do this?

just started this tonight after completing tomb raider,

made it upto the beach after rescuing Elizabeth..

and i'm honestly quite stunned how beautiful this game is,

the graphics, the sounds, the people.. it's beyond my expection so far :)

Just finished it. And it's incredible.

Also a huge joy and relief to know there are still people out there who can make great and uncompromising games. Kind of a bleak horizon these days apart from this gem.

I've been trying to explore every nook and cranny but feel I must be missing loads:

At Fink's level, found the safes in the Columbia Authority place but I still have like 30 lockpicks left! Is there like a secret shop full of safes somewhere or are there just loads and loads of spare lockpicks? I didn't buy any.
