New Nvidia drivers for Bioshock Infinite

Just tested again with the latest TR patch - still no performance change on my Fermi based GPUs but the VRAM useage has dropped almost 20% with the patch which might help those who are VRAM limited.

I downloaded 341.22 from uk.geforce.com and its the same installer and drivers installed same way as before, no reboot needed.

(although it does need a reboot for Afterburner O/C to work)

i discovered that you don't need to reboot you're PC for afterbuner o/c to work. you only need to close afterburner down completely so that it not even running in the background, then restarted it and it will display the new forceware version and o/c will also be applied.

These drivers made an almost difference to me in Bioshock Infinite, would get unusual slow down at certain points. Like where the guy is getting his shoes shined, the announcer is up on stage doing their weird lottery thing etc

All cleaned up now.

Cool tip.
:D

Just been playing Bioshock Infinite for the last 4 hours. Sweet game and smooth as silk. No slow downs at all and averaging 84fps with everything maxed @ 5760x1080 - 1852MB max VRAM used.

Not very demanding and newer games are tougher on the GPU with lesser prettiness (is that a word) :p

Indeed it just shows that they cant get allot out of the PC when they put the effort in.
And yes prettiness is a word.

Have you? Says you have been offline for 5 days on Steam

I too have the stutter bug / micro stutter again with these new drivers in BF3. 60FPS (VSynced) and it's not smooth at all. reverted back to the "old" beta's and all is well again. Bioshock tho runs like crap with the betas.. Waiting on new branch.

Yea there is something ever so slightly strange about these drivers in BF3. Sometimes its fine, othertimes it feels laggy.

I have adaptive vsync on. Maybe thats the problem? I will try turning it off and see what effect it has.

Running any kind of overclock on the card? New drivers can mean stable OCs are no longer stable (sometimes the opposite is true too, you can push your OC further).

BF3 will randomly start artifacting then black screen crash on these drivers for me, even on stock clocks. Need to restart my PC otherwise every game artifacts afterwards. Only happens on these drivers :/
