wow, what a stupid test!
Established Middle Class.
Established Middle Class.
Emergent Service Worker. Seems to fit.
Elite, which is about right.
Same here.
Although it states im financially insecure, well thats kind of true as Ive just moved out and furnished my flat![]()
I'd be curious to know how the 'financially insecure' part is determined, as Firestar stated it seems to be linked to home ownership. Which as an absolute measurement of wealth or affluence is a total crock.
Elite
This is the wealthiest and most privileged group in the UK. According to the Great British Class Survey results, lots of people in this group:
Enjoy high cultural activities such as visiting museums and listening to classical music
Went to private school and elite universities
Socialise with people who do a wide variety of jobs
Well I put owns home over 125k, socialises with scientists, but still got working class.
Must be down to lack of savings and not listening to classical music or going to the opera.![]()
I'd have thought this, but I rent and ended up in Established Middle Class. Are you of a lower class just because you don't own your own home and instead rent?
Apparently I'm a Emergent Service Worker as I've not yet bought myself a house. If I had done I'd be Established Middle Class.
