Following on from my last post, I did break out the original again, and in my opinion, it wipes the floor with Infinite.
Back to it it though, I did stick with the game and I am a good chunk of the way through it, sporting 5 or 6 plasmids (or whatever this game calls them), a bunch of clothing upgrades (a nice touch), and the carbine - also just got the hand cannon.
The introduction of your buddy has kind of taken away a fair chunk of skill required I feel - I now have a seemingly endless supply of coins, ammo, health and salts thanks to her! Even on hard her ability to throw me these items from miles away and often through walls, has meant that in battles I'm hardly getting a feeling that I'm fighting for my life - even when I do die the game deducts a few coins and she revives me!
The game looks ok, the settings are brighter and more open, so this will always distract from any ill feelings of doom experienced within Bioshock, but the graphics (i.e textures) on the PS3 are very dated in some places.
The sound is good, immersive enough, so no worries there.
The enemy AI... laughable, seems they either have super sniper xray vision and can hit you when you can't see them through the distance fog, or they just have the run and whack approach - there's very little variation in this; hell the only one that may have been a challenge (the crow) can simply be outsmarted by pacing back n forth.
As Tom84 says above, and Dannyb01y, this game (to me) is feelings pretty 'meh' and over hyped
I'll finish this, but it's not a keeper, and certainly not a replay - by comparison I've been through Bioshock 4 times and this recent rekindle with be my 5th.
